This class is one of 3 requirements for any student to become a "Fire Watcher."  A new rule at BMC is that for a student or student group to host a campfire, a Fire Watcher must be present during the event.

A "Fire Watcher" is a BMC student, in good standing, who has completed 3-part Campfire Safety Module that includes completion of:

  • Part 1 - Hands-on, Campfire Fire Extinguisher Safety Training facilitated by LMFD

  • Read and Agree to abide by the BMC Campfire Policy

  • Part 2 - Online Campfire Safety Training Video 

  • Part 3 - Online Campfire Safety Test â€“ Passing with 80%
