Inquisition Paleography Working Group
Join us Fridays from 3 to 4 p.m. in Old Library 104 for our Inquisition Paleography Working Group. We are transcribing digitized Inquisition trials as we practice reading 16th-century notarial calligraphy—total beginners are welcome! We work primarily with Spanish, though the trials often feature significant late-medieval Latin, and we welcome Tri-Co undergraduate and graduate students of all levels of fluency to come try it out!
